Koyda Pods was born from a successful engineering business with family heritage dating back 80 years.  There was a strong desire to create existing spaces using engineering and construction knowledge and established supply chains. We thought that most of the garden rooms we saw were overly reliant on site work at the premises and lacked thought and integrity. Many garden rooms you see after a few years look green and tired and in some cases warped, allowing water in and turning someone's investment into a damp executive storeroom.  Furthermore, the lead times can be up to 12 weeks or more.

After much research and development, our team designed a set of 3 pods, constructed with a structural steel core, surrounded by smart insulated paneling, guaranteed for 40 years, creating a warm, dry and very sturdy pod, equipped with the finest windows and doors available.   The design of the pod allows for external finishes such as timber, to be installed in panel form so that should you wish to refresh the outside of the pod, its a simple panel change which doesn't effect the integrity of the pod at all.

A large investment is much better when it can be picked or packed up and taken along with you,  another benefit for investing in a Koyda Pod. The structural strength of the pod and rigidity means it can be lifted with a crane or HIAB lorry and taken to your next property.  This is quite unique in our industry.
